I tried to see all sides of this issue and present a balanced perspective. As someone who chose to live in the mountains, far from the city and many services, I hear the criticisms, and I don’t disagree.  Still, I wonder why we can’t have more. I’m open to your thoughts:

And for the record, I know several EMTs in our area who do an awesome job saving lives. I am thankful for them!
